I’m impressed that this photographer can identify fungus. Polyporus squamosus is also known as Dryad’s Saddle and Pheasant’s Back Mushroom. According to Wikipedia:

Moon in June

The Moon in June road race was held last Saturday night, June 14, 2008. Hoards of runners competed in the kids dash (200m), the kids 1km, and the adult/kids 5km and 10km races.
