Happy Loving Day everyone. Today is the anniversary of the 1967 United States Supreme Court decision Loving v. Virginia, an unofficial holiday which celebrates the end of anti-miscegenation laws in America. From Wikipedia, “In the United States, anti-miscegenation laws were state laws banning interracial marriage, mainly forbidding marriage between non-whites and whites.”
