The warm weather brings leaves for the trees, lots of rain, and Bugs!

Mystery Bug, originally uploaded by Andrew in Windsor.
There are some pretty cool ones around Windsor-Essex County, but actually, if you look at any insect closely, their bodies are incredible. And they’re real, not science fiction.

…and I’m still not sure exactly what they are. I usually end up finding between 1-4 of them in the house every year… Still a mystery to me.
- As a side note, I posted a few new cat photos in my stream the other day. Keep those in mind for Friday

Bizarre — how big are these bugs? I’ve never seen anything like it.
Great cat photos by the way. I saw them and favourited them so they’ll be easy to find on Friday.

Not that big… Maybe the length of a Loonie? I hit that one with my slipper, and the wings popped out. Mostly I’ve found them with wings closed. In fact they don’t seem to fly much at all…
