Where were you when the storm hit?
I was on the highway between Windsor and Chatham, trying to get to Toronto. I had to turn off in Chatham and stay the night in a (too pricey) hotel. What can you do when there’s no way to push on? I watched the weather channel all night long hoping the storm would break but no chance. The next day I had to turn around and come back home. A few days later I made the trip again with no trouble at all.

Essex County wasn’t hit as hard as the areas east of here, especially Hamilton (and Atlantic Canada of course). That’s a strong tree to be able to hold up all that ice.
