What secrets lurk in Windsor’s past? Well, one thing I didn’t know was that Canadian rock singer-songwriter, Sam Roberts, was part of the Hot Rocks Summer Concert Series during the summer 2006, and played at the Windsor Racetrack on July 23.

Not the first time Sam Roberts played for free in Windsor. He also played at an event with Treble Charger and Mixmaster Mike a few years back on the riverfront for Molson.
Sadly, as amazing as Sam Roberts is, not many showed up for the Hot Rocks concert at the Windsor Raceway (it also featured The Stills. I went, AMAZING performances by both acts), even with it being a free event.
