The snow keeps on coming.
It came last year and now there’s more again this year.
Today’s prediction is five centimetres/two inches.
Frankly, I’m getting quite tired of it.

I remember when I was a kid living in the county I was always so excited for snow. I loved playing in it (and loved the possibility that buses might not run and we’d have a snow day!) But now I see it as treacherous driving, cold toes, and risk of an earache. I wish I could go back.

I love it. I hate the bitter cold that goes right through you, but waking up to a blanket of snow, especially a manageable 2″ makes winter all worth it to me. Sorry.
