Beyond robins, cardinals, crows, and blue jays I’m not much good at identifying birds. I like to look out from the warmth of my kitchen window when I go birding.

This shot was taken through a window screen and the artist is looking for a bit of help in identifying this bird that was spotted recently in Windsor. If you know anything about it please leave a comment below.

P.S. I don’t see any birds on the Field Guide that are a direct match, but my first vote from the field guide is the Northern Flicker, but it’s hard to tell from that photo.
