Fort Malden in Amherstberg, Ontario was first known as Fort Amherstburg. According to the Canadian Encyclopedia it was built between 1796 and 1799 and was later used as headquarters during the war of 1812.

It has a large collection of artifacts from the past and historical re-enactors bring the past to life during special events at the Fort. At night, the statues come alive…
