Dougall Public School hosted the International Peace Day celebration this past Friday, 21st of September 2007.

The celebration featured guest speakers, choir performances and student art displays.

The tradition began locally in 2003 and many of its committee members have experienced conflict or war. The committee’s goal is to educate the public about building peace in the community and the world. For more information, please check the website at www.buildingpeacetogether.com
