I just got my postcard from Thiessen’s Orchards that the first apples are ripe and ready for picking. I’ve taken my kids many times and they love to climb the trees, eat the apples, and fill bags with more apples to bring home for making apple crisp, apple sauce, apple juice, and apple pies.

There are ready-picked apples available too, and although in my opinion it’s not quite as fun, they taste just as good. Enjoy!
