Blog Windsor

Can you imagine the families that lived here? It looks lonely today but I can imagine the rooms full of children laughing, chores being done, clothes hanging to dry and the smells of fresh cooking coming through the windows. I wonder if ever any secret visitor climbed up the tree and in the window — or — out the window and down the tree?

This old place is on Talbot Trail, which runs along just west of Leamington, as you head out of Essex County, into Kent County. There are lots of farms and farmhouses to see if you’ve got some time for exploring.
