It’s been really hot this past weekend and everywhere I go people are doing what they can to cool off. A lot of people choose to go sock-and-shoe-less to keep the air flowing around the feet. It can help you stay cool I guess - and/or give you a sunburn in a most unusual pattern. Here are some happy hippie feet all dressed up in blue paint. The grass is green here but it’s been browning all weekend. There won’t be much green for much longer.

Of course baby toes never need covering — they’re much too edible to stuff inside of socks.
