Hungry?

July 6th, 2007 · No Comments

Looking for fresh produce and special treats? Windsor’s market, at the corner of Ottawa Street and Walker Road brings together fruits and veggies from farms across the county. Here you can find apples, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and more — and in many cases, buy directly from the farmers themselves. Seasonal eats are the best.

At the Ottawa Street market you can also find specialty items at Far Flung Foods, The Healthy Nut, and the Lebanese and Asian grocers within but if you still can’t find what you’re looking for you can try the International Market on Wyandotte West at Wellington.

So when you get hungry this weekend hop on out and see what’s fresh. Local strawberries and blueberries are ready and Leamington’s greenhouse tomatoes are always in season.
