Welcome to another week of pictures from around Windsor and Essex County. Today we’ll have a look at some of the beautiful skies you can see in this part of Southern Canada.

Also on Windsor’s westside, this shot is an interesting and unique angle of the Ambassador bridge floating up into some very blue clouds:

This photo of a night sky caught the comet Hale Bopp and now everyone who was asleep that night gets to see it.

I like the wild vertigo feeling this photo gives me. The highway between Windsor and London does get pretty boring so it’s no wonder this photographer turned the camera sideways to liven things up a little.

More awesome clouds here, this time with sand and trees. Holiday Beach has some great public access and is also host to the the Hawk festival each fall during the migration.

You see all sorts of things in Windsor’s skies. These balloons make a festive shot, but don’t let them get away. They can be hazardous to the animals that find the broken pieces later.
