When you’re down at the riverfront you can’t help but notice Detroit. It’s only a few kilometres across the river. Occasionally I’ve seen kyaks out there, but mostly it’s freighters. In the summer there are lots of weekend powerboaters but no matter who’s in the water, this group of buildings is always in the background.
